Sorry! (Repeat)

Okay, so I know the small amount of people who actually read this blog are mad at me for not posting. But either way, I'll try to continue it again. So, since I'm lazy, I'm going to skip those book I said I was going to review. I know, I know, quit yelling at me. I do plan, however, to review The House of Hades, The Fault In Our Stars, The False Prince, and Almost Home. So I'm sorry for the inactivity, but I'll try to keep this going.

Thanks!

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Battle of Labyrinth Review

In this book Percy starts his "adventure" with freshman orientation where he meets up with a mortal-Rachel Elizabeth Dare- along with some annoying suprises. When Percy gets to Camp Half-Blood, he finds out that the Titans are planning an invasion. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover must head into the Labyrinth-a huge underground maze- to save their camp from destruction.

This is a great book. I think it was an amazing idea to add the Labyrinth into the series.

I know my reviews are getting shorter but I promise The Last Olympian will be longer!

**SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT**

Rachel is awesome. She is just plainly awesome. She doesn't really think it's weird that Percy has a sword or that he is fighting the monsters at the school. I love how she ends up going with them into the Labyrinth!

Pan! I'm so happy they added him in! It does kind of make sense for him to be hiding in the Labyrinth. Good job Grover!

I hoped you liked the review! Probably not... It was kind of lame... But I promise The Last Olympian will be better!

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Titan's Curse Review

In the third book of this series you meet two new Demi-Gods: Nico and Bianca di Angelo. With the help of the Hunters, they head off to find Artemis who has been taken by the Titans and Percy's good friend Annabeth, who may not even be alive.

This is my least favorite book of the series. It's not a bad book by all means but to me it feels more like a filler to make it a 5 book series. Though I LOVE the new Demi-Gods. You do meet (at least) three new gods in this book. Over all this is a good book.

Just saying: I feel really bad for Bianca. :) Suspense my dear readers! Suspense!

**SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT**

Right off the bat: Nico! I love that they added a son/daughter of Hades into the series. Now you have one child from each big three: Thalia, Percy, and Nico.

Yes... we all know why I only said Nico... Poor Bianca. R.I.P

If you don't like Nico now you will almost certainly love him later.

Lines I love:

   "Mr.D," I said
   He raised his eyebrow.
"You called me by my right name," I said. "You called me Percy Jackson."
"I most certainly did not Peter Johnson. Now off with you!"

"Blackjack," I said," you're supposed to stay in the stables."
Meh, the stables, You see Chiron staying in the stables?
   "Well... no."

"You're glad to lose another camper," I said. "You'd like it if we all disappeared!"
Mr.D stifled a yawn. "You have a point?'
"Yeah," I growled, "Just because you were sent here as a punishment doesn't mean you have to be a lazy jerk! This is your civilization, too. Maybe you could try helping out a little!"
For a second, there was no sound except the crackle of the fire. The light reflected in Mr. D's eyes, giving him a sinister look. He opened his mouth to say something-probably a curse that would blast me to smithereens-when Nico burst into the room, followed by Grover.
"SO COOL!" Nico yelled, holding his hands out to Chiron."You're...you're a centaur!"
Chiron mangaed a nervous smile. "Yes, Mr. di Angelo, if you please.Though, I prefer to stay in human form in this wheelchair for, ah, first encounters."
"And whoa!" He looked at Mr.D. "You're the wine dude? No way!"
Mr.D turned his eyes away from me and gave Nico a look of loathing. "The wine dude?"
"Dionysus, right? Oh, wow! I've got your figurine."
   "My figurine?"
"In my game, Mythomagic. And a holofoil card, too! And even though you only have like five hundred attack points and everbody thinks your the lamest god card, I totally think your powers are sweet!"
"Ah." Mr. D looked truly perplexed, which probably saved my life. "Well thats... gratifying."

Sorry that last one was so long, I just love that whole part. I hope you enjoyed the Review!

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Sea of Monsters Review

In this book you join Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Tyson-a tall kid that Percy met at his new school-on their quest to save Camp Half-Blood. The magical borders protecting camp have been poisoned and they need to save it, but of course, Clarisse has to get in the middle of it. In this book you'll join the gang on an unaproved adventure to save camp, journeying to the Sea of Monsters to get the one thing that can save the only safe place for Demi-Gods. But before Percy goes, he has to accept the fact that children of Poseidon arn't just half-bloods.

This is a great book. I don't think it is as good as The Lightning Theif, but it's still good. For me the begining seemed a bit confusing for some reason, I just couldn't connnect to the story as well, but everything else is great (as usual for Rick Riordan books).

**SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT**

I LOVE Tyson. He looks so much older than he actually is but he is a big softie and acts so young. I'm glad Rick Riordan put him in because it adds something Percy has to overcome, especially after being the hero in the last book.

Please comment if you agree with this: Hippocampi are awesome! I love them! They rock! GO HIPPOCAMPI!!!!

Am I the only one who thought that there would be another Percy VS Clarisse? I think that would have been awesome. Them fighting over the Golden Fleece or something. Then again, Percy would likely just give it to her...

Am I the only one who didn't see Thalia coming? I mean, I knew that she would come back eventually, it just makes sense, but I didn't expect her to come so early.

Lines I love:

That's when I turned and found a sword's point at my throat.

Luke gritted his teeth. "You know that! Why do you keep asking me?"
"Because I want everybody in the audience to hear you."
"What audience?"

Thanks for reading! I hope you like the review!

Percy Jackson and The Olympians - The Lightning Thief

Four words:
I LOVE THIS BOOK!

It is the start of my whole, crazy, insane, Percy Jackson love!

Okay, so in this book you begin your journey with this twelve year old boy named Percy Jackson. Percy has dyslexia and ADHD. He finds out he is a Demi-God (half mortal, half god) and goes to this place called Camp Half-Blood. Here he finds out that he is being accused of stealing a lightning bolt, Zeus's Master Bolt. From there he goes on a quest with his friends Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood to find the master bolt and return it to Zeus.

If you read this, you will likely go crazy with Percy Jackson stuff.
This book is written by Rick Riordan.

**SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT**

I absolutely love the sympathy you feel for Percy at first. I felt it pulled you into the story right away.

I love the fact that Rick Riordan put in Dionysus. Truthfully, I think he adds a lot to the story just with one character. I don't think the story would be complete without him.

I absolutely LOVE the fight with Percy and Clarisse. It gives you the first clue about his father and shows that Percy isn't a coward, he stands up for himself. Well, I guess the thing with Nancy shows something.

I think putting in Medusa really helped. It was a filler for the story so that it could be longer. It gave more trouble into the quest. It gave the book an amazing ending: Having Percy's mom create a poker player statue (Which we all know is Gabe) and starting a new life-Genius!

I know they had Ares in there to have him give Percy the backpack with the lightning bolt in it, but I think adding him really helped. I mean, it could have been a monster or Luke or something, but no! They chose a god! I think it is good for Percy to have a powerful ememy and standing up to the god of war at Santa Monica Pier. I felt it really tied the story together.

I love the ending! at first I was thinking, 'I might read the rest of the series. It's a good book.' But then I read the ending and I was like, 'OMG! I have to get the rest of the series! Now!' I love the thing with Luke being the Lightning Thief. I thought it would be Ares or some monster or something, but they gave you a character you thought was pretty cool, and made him the bad guy.

Thank you for reading! I hope you liked the Review!

NatCat's Book Talk

Hello! This is me welcoming you to my blog. Welcome... I might start acting really silly, just for a warning.

Okay, so! I bet you are all wondering what this is about. Well... it does say in the title... On here, I talk about books! Do book reviews, rant about books, discuss movies about books... all of those types of things.

So! Things you should know- This may not keep going, I have no idea. I have a bad habit of not keeping track of my blogs. I will mainly talk about books I like, if I really don't like a book I might put something on here.

Rules (Kinda)- 1.Don't try to change my opinion! It will never happen. I stick to my opinions!  2. Please don't ask me to stop talking about Percy Jackson, I most likely, will not.  3. Please be nice. Please?  4. Don't get mad at me or anyone for liking a book/book series.

That's pretty much it. If I stop writing I did not disappear from the face of the Earth (Hopefully), I just completely forgot about the blog.

Thanks,
NatCat
